Fordham U 3.4 GPA 167 LSAT; where should I be applying?

Applied Accounting and Finance major
Business Law and Ethics minor
Fordham University Gabelli School of Business
GPA: 3.4 cumulative, 3.4 major GPA and 3.9 minor GPA
LSAT: 167
Have work experience and also some activities including coaching youth basketball and playing Gaelic football.

What schools should I be looking at? Are t-14 schools completely out of reach or is there a chance? I’m the first one in my family to try to go to law school so I really have no idea where to be looking. Thanks.

Go to [Welcome to LSAC.org](http://www.lsac.org). Plug your stats into the law school finder. It will tell you your odds.

If the link works, you’ll find it here.
<a href=“Search for Law Schools – LSAC Official Guide | The Law School Admission Council”>Search for Law Schools – LSAC Official Guide | The Law School Admission Council;

There are a few-very few-law schools that don’t participate.

BC would nicely round out your career. Apply as early as possible.

UT - Austin

Is UT Austin realistic? Would love to go and have similar stats, but this seems like reach to me.

“Profanity is the last resort of an ignorant man.”

But yeah…I’d say you’re 50/50 at HLS. Good luck!

Is hls Harvard? If so, I’m assuming the 50/50 is a joke? Gaelic football, notwithstanding…

Yeah brah HLS is Haaaaaarvard Law School. Number one top law school in the world. I’d say you’re 50/50 if you can bring your gpa up to 3.5 and play up the football.

Also, if HLS doesn’t work out, 167 LSAT is in range at Stanford…

Clearly, yls and sls think they are clever. Sad that the legal profession continues to churn out smart Becky snobs who believe that because they go to Harvard and stanford, they can treat everyone else badly. Perhaps there is someone knowledgeable and less arrogant who would truly like to share some advice. My recommendation would be to aim for schools just below the t14, perhaps Emory, Vanderbilt, UT-Austin.But I don’t claim to have all the answers unlike our esteemed hls and sls who thou smart appear to have no heart.
