Foreign Language Requirement at Fu???

<p>Is there a foreign language requirement at Fu? The College’s page say’s there is one for their students, but Fu’s Core page doesn’t make any mention of it. Could someone specify what’s required in Fu’s core, because it seems to me that it’s much more lenient than the College?</p>

<p>No, there isn’t a foreign language requirment for Fu’s CORE, but you can almost certainly take it as one of the “required non-technical” classes.</p>

<p>The Fu’s CORE is a less rigorous version of the college’s CORE, it’s composed of BOTH required science and SOME humanities courses. Even though Fu gives engineering students a balanced education, but remember, it’s still somewhat engineering-based school.</p>

<p>I’m not an absolute authority on this, you would have to ask some Columbia students, maybe soulofheaven8 or ivyman1.</p>

<p>Thank god. I took Spanish for 6 years but didn’t want to take AP this year. I’m so relieved that I don’t have to worry about it. Thanks for the help.</p>
