Foreign Language

Can anyone take a foreign language along with majoring in something else.?

You mean like taking a class? Of course! Hard to get into your first couple semesters but, yeah, definiely.

yea, you can. Though they are hard to schedule in with some science classes. Beginning FLs are generally five unit, one-hour-per-day courses. Two exceptions are Latin and ancient Greek. These are four days a week and they are four units. (Some languages like Sanskrit and Modern Greek have beginners level as lower division)

(BTW: Modern Greek is not in the Greek subdepartment, it is the Comp Lit. 112A-B and it is four units)

isn’t one greek class like 8 units?

crazy

Greek 10 and Latin 10 are 8-units. They are equivalent to 1 and 2
