Forgot to tick a box, what should I do?

Hi!

I’m a Dutch Yale applicant (SCEA).
My native language is Dutch and I speak Dutch at home.
Today, when I visited CommonApp, I noticed I forgot to tick
the ‘Language Spoken at Home’ box in the Demographics section.
Should I contact Yale about this?

Are you an international applicant from The Netherlands? If so, it seems to me that it would be pretty obvious from the rest of your application.

Yes, I am. And I guess they have more important things to do right now,
so I don’t want to bother them.

I like to say that you should never assume anything especially in something this important, and to not worry about the workload of the financial officers. Their job is to cater to your needs. Telling them that you forgot to check a box will not make them want to reject you.

Definately send them an email or call them. They read all their emails but they only respond to the ones with things like this.
