Hi, I’m applying to the AB/ScB program. Do I need to send in form 4C as well? It says that ScB people need it, but not specifically AB/ScB …

thanks!

yes you do, you are applying for an ScB AND and AB
therefore you must fulfill the requirements of both degrees

I don’t have a third teacher to fill the rec form, so I called Brown and was told to apply for the AB only, and then if I enroll I can choose whatever degree I want, including the ScB.

Is that true?

yes it is. you’re accepted to the college, not any particular program.

Thanks. Whatever floats their boat. If they want me to indicate I want an AB just so I can bypass the third rec, more power to them :)

Well—

What if we have biology/english teachers on 4A/4B, and another math teacher on 4C? I guess what I’m asking is . . . if you’re applying to AB/ScB, are 4A/4B expected to both be eng/hist teachers?

Also, LSA, what number did you call?

I don’t think it matters which teachers do 4A and 4B.

I called 401-863-2378
