Format of Common App personal statement?

<p>I’m submitting my application to Carnegie Mellon today, and I had originally double spaced my personal statement; however, on the Carnegie Mellon supplement they ask that your other essay be single-spaced. Which should it be for my personal statement?</p>

<p>If they don’t specify, don’t stress about it. If you care enough about whether it’s in the right format, just go ahead and email the college (if deadlines permit you.)</p>
