This is such a trivial question, but:

In the section to talk about new extracurricular/academic pursuits on the mid-year, is there a way to indent or even add spaces between paragraphs? Right now mine looks like one big block of text.

Though I do not know the particulars of this form. One method I have used when returns, tabs, and spaces do not work is to use dashes ---.

That's a good idea, thanks.

I always just double space between paragraphs.

What are some things we can include in that section of the report? Are we supposed to list academic honors? (not sure because there wasn't a section for that in the original app)

schitz--It won't even let you double space, which is what I did for the essays. I wrote in mine about a new club I had started, my reasoning for leaving an old one, a new college course I was taking, awards, etc., etc. Just give them an update on what you've been doing since you applied.

Did you list academic honors in your app?

Only the recent ones, like that I was chosen as our school's rep in this scholarship competition. It would probably be fine to mention earlier awards (since, as you said, there was no spot on the regular app), but this is really, I think, an update.

So you didn't list academic awards on the app itself?

Is it bad if all I put were my grades and new GPA?

No - it's supposed to take only 5 minutes. Additional info is only needed if you feel it is warranted.

Did any of you list academic honors in the app?

I sent in a resume because the Chicago application was quite scanty when it came to awards/extracurricular information.
