After her hopes of a professional playing career had ended in the summer of 2004, former Penn State women’s basketball player Maren Walseth considered getting a job in the “normal business world.”</p>

<p>Thanks to her father’s connections in the public relations world, she went to a couple of career building workshops and interviews, but Walseth noticed something wasn’t quite right for her…
