The UC application states that foster care is anything like “foster home, group home or placed with a relative by the court”. At one point I had to move away from my mother to live with a relative due to circumstances, but it wasn’t ordered by the court because none of us wanted that kind of trouble. Should I still put a check under foster care?
If it’s not official foster care through the state then no you cannot put that for the UC App. A foster home is something that the social services and the courts arrange.
