Four USC Students Named Albert Schweitzer Fellowships

<p>The Albert Schweitzer Fellowship is awarded to students in medicine, public health and pharmacy who are committed to serving their local community.</p>

<p>For the second year in a row a SC pharmacy student has been awarded the Schweitzer Fellowship. Ashlee Klevens is the 2011-2012 recipient. Three other fellows this year from the university are Angelina Cazares from the School of Social Work, Crystal Ives and Kavita Renduchintala from the Keck School of Medicine.</p>

<p>Over the next year the new Schweitzer Fellows will carry out service projects that address the unmet health needs of underserved individuals and communities.</p>
