Since the day that my friend received his acceptances packages from the mail, I had been checking my mailbox everyday, hoping to see a big white envelope with my name written on it. However, today, when I check my mail box, all I saw was a small envelope from USC.
I was rejected
I had always wanted to attend USC. It had always been my dream schools. Although I know that I was accepted to UCLA and Berkeley, I continue to hope that I will be granted admission to USC. But that didn’t happen. Maybe my SAT score isn’t high enough, or maybe I was not much of a leader, or maybe it because I putted Lady Gaga as my favoite artist. Who knows. So, I guess that’s life huh
Sorry to ruin the happy atmosphere in this forum.

CONGRATULATION TO THOSE WHO GETS IN!!!

To those who are rejected, I guess we just have to deal with the hand we got right :]
Good luck to everyone and their college journey :]

Thanks for those in this forum who was with us everystep of the way, giving us technical and emotional support. Good luck to everyone

Coopebble…do not worry about your “Lady Gaga” reference. Do you know the reason they ask those questions? That is one of their barometers to see if it is the student filling out the application and not the parent. They can tell by your answers. A Lady Gaga is a wonderful answer. I will not embarrass myself by admitting what I put (because I would look like a complete dork), but my answer was honest. That is what they were looking for.

Lol, thanks tornados :]

I think everyone here has there only past and special characteristic and we all did our very best :] Maybe I didn’t Africa from famine or change the world, but I know that I did my very best as an immigrant form China who came to America when I was in Seventh Grade
