Frakking CS 35L final, how does it work?

I’ve done quite well in CS 35L, but I have absolutely no idea how the final is structured, and nobody I’ve talked to seems to know either. Are there conceptual questions? Is it similar to a CS 31/32 final but with 35L-related questions? Am I going to have to prepare for knowing about esoteric arguments for Linux commands by bringing reams of manpages to the exam room? TIA <3

From what I remember, it is mostly conceptual with some coding.

Our TA gave us a packet of notes. I brought those, the homeworks/labs and my solutions to them, and that was just fine. I can email you that packet of notes if you’d like.

Thanks guys =]

Interesting, apparently the TA’s each make their own final. I guess that’s better than having Eggert do it 8)

I’m feelin like I’ll get rocked in it. -__-

I’m not really thinking about it right now because between now and then (i.e. tomorrow) I have to survive my EE 1 and CS M51A finals :P

Protip for future reference: checking out “Linux In A Nutshell” from Powell is like having a dead tree edition of any manpage you could ask for ^_^

Ack, why did I think of that? I wasted so many trees today. :(
