It depends on the type of franchise.

all you need is money, and you’ll get your license

Abcboy70, although you were able to spell all the words correctly in your post, your credibility has been shot in the “business major” heading, so you may consider a discontinuation here. Just some words of advice.

Looks like Mr. My-opinion-is-always-correct got a little off-topic.

this whole sub forum is usually of topic. Point is?

owning and running a restaurant, what type of education would one want to attain?

thanks

A formal education isn’t NECESSARY… but it sure does help.

A lot of franchises won’t let you run a franchise unless you have a certain net worth. You need lots o’ money to have that.

So I guess just to be on the safer side, you can go ahead and study business or economics or something of that sort. Get a job, acquire some assets, ya know the deal.

net worth? for most, such as a juice king or similar, you wont have to worry much about net worth, rather just the overall costs of franchise fees. rent, etc. This goes for many fast food resteraunts as well, such as subway. But when getting bigger than that, i have no clue.
