Hi, I am a high school senior who has been accepted to Franklin and Marshall and Lafayette. I am still waiting for my Bryn Mawr decision. I will be going to visit all three in April before making a final decision. Aside from visiting and seeing how I feel, I would like input from people on here. What are the pros and cons of each? Are people friendly? How are the social scenes?
Thanks!
All three of these colleges have excellent reputations in my circles. And LACs are basically all strong fit schools, so I think you are doing the main thing–visit all three, and see where you feel like you would most thrive. That’s going to be your best bet.
Incidentally, there is a very good chance you would actually thrive at all three. But going in as excited and positive as possible is inherently helpful, so might as well go with that.

Depends upon one’s personal preferences and desires/goals.
Are both Lafayette and Franklin and Marshall affordable (meaning they don’t require loans beyond the $27K max undergrad student loans?)
What are you thinking about majoring in?
At Franklin and Marshall and BM I wld be a Political Science Major. At Laf, I would be Law and Government.

The time to ask might be after visiting. Hopefully that will resolve things.
Both F&M are in cities.
You had other options too. Make sure you can afford each.
Laf is a bit bigger. F&M has a business major. Laf an engineering major. So they’re LACs plus.
Obviously, BM has connection to Haverford.
- Make sure you can afford either (preferably sans loans)
- Visit - record your thoughts immediate after leaving - so you remember them exactly. Walk the campus and surrounding town. Stop kids, talk to them, etc.
You’ll probably know from visiting.
At F&M, per the school 40% of kids are athletes. Lafayette says 600 student athletes - so a smaller percentage and higher profile - D1.
You can always talk to a student ambassador b4 you visit too.
But I do think two kids could pick either - so only you can decide.
Great schools - as are your other admits.
Good luck.

Definitely visit! F&M and Lafayette will probably feel similar to each other - more social. BMC is more serious - students tend to take pride in putting in the hours studying. But see for yourself.
