What are fraternities/sororities? how do i get into them? Can i get into fraternities as a sophomore?

Yes, you can get in as a sophomore. Pretty much every school should have a page about fraternities and sororities in general. You can also start with Wikipedia or the interfraternity council or the national Panhellenic council.
