Hi, I’m a high school junior with a 86.5 gpa or 3.2 gpa and an 1950 SAT score. My dream School is Tulane, but whenever I go on Naviance I’m so much lower on the scattergram than everyone else. I was born with cerebral palsy and have dedicated my life to giving back to my community. I’ve been volunteering at the local ambulance corp in my town for 3 years and also am a captain for my schools state champion ultimate frisbee team. So do you think these things will help me get into Tulane? Thanks.

Tulane: Reach

What’s your safety? You can put your act together at the safety and then attempt to transfer into Tulane as a junior.

Your GPA is the main factor holding you back. If you do really well for your second semester, you may have a chance of being accepted, bringing Tulane from a reach to low reach.

My Gpa has been bumped up to a 87.7 so I’m happy about that. My guidance consular says that with my cerebral palsy I will have an advantage while applying. I’m also gonna do early action. Will these factors help?
