I have a 2220 superscored SAT (my reading/math combined gives me a 1440) and got a 32 on the ACT with a 9 on writing, which is lower. I also did the October subject tests but am deathly worried that I did badly, especially on the Math II as I didn’t manage my time well, and I just registered for two subject tests on a whim (paying the late registration fee, so it was super expensive) without actually knowing whether I did well or not. I didn’t bother to check the refund policy until after I had already registered and apparently they can give you $10 back, which is basically nothing considering I just paid around $90. So now that I feel like a spoiled brat wasting my parents’ money, I just wanted some advice on what to do. I took the October ACT in the hopes that I’d do better and could just send in my ACT with essay to avoid doing subject tests, but I get the feeling that I didn’t do any better (and this is my last one-- I am not trying the November one.)
Obviously a lot is uncertain and last minute since I have to wait a bit until scores come out, but what do you think I should do? My first deadline is Nov 1-- one to a safety, and another to UMD. I’ll be sending in my SAT score and my October subject tests, but in the case that I did badly (I probably got like 680-700 on Math II and 720-750 on Lit) do you think this would badly hurt my chances? Is there anyone out there in a similar boat?
