<p>Princeton definately recruits. If you check out their XC website it has a list of the athletes that they recruited for the 06-07 season. I was able to talk to Samara and I liked him; he was very straigtforward. Rather than saying something like, “well we consider every athlete who approaches us equally, etc, etc, etc,” he told me that I would probably have to take x seconds off my time to walk on. That’s not to say that he’s procrustean or anything; I personally just like to have a realistic, quantitative answer.</p>
