Catch up on a couple movies or shows for free!

3 days seems too short to catch up on seasons of series I like, which I expect is the point of the free weekend – get hooked on the first couple episodes of the show, then pay for a subscription to keep watching.
I plan to instead use one of the free 3+ month trials for new and existing offers later this year. These 3-4 month trial offers have been available continuously for years. When I last was a member 1-2 years ago, I liked Severance and Servant, which have had new seasons since then. This time I plan to also check out Silo and Dark Matter, maybe some of the nature shows as well.

The only time I’ve seen 3 month trial memberships on Apple (or other time frames) is when purchasing a new Apple device. How do you secure 3 month trials?

Yes I agree on Best Buy. I’ve also gotten lengthy trials through Target Circle (their free “vip” membership level) and T-Mobile (my mobile carrier). I think I was able to get more than one round from each, but I was disappointed when they finally started telling me “you’ve already used this offer”. And I bought my latest iPhone near the beginning of Covid, when they kept extending the free trial for many months. So with a few breaks, I’ve had almost 5 years of Apple TV+ but probably only paid for less than a year.
I’m sure they’re not as generous now, but try googling for offers if you haven’t already.

. Actually, I’ve watched most other series of interest during previous free subscriptions from purchasing Apple products. This show sounded interesting and so it is!

I like Apple. One of our few subscriptions. I’m enjoying Silo. And Shrinkage and Bad Sisters.
Made it through all 22 episodes of Shrinking in three days - tough job but someone had to do it. I really enjoyed the show, even though I don’t particularly care for Jason Segel. Loved Harrison Ford - and enjoyed the rest of the cast. It was nice to see Kelly Bishop.

Watched a couple of good movies thanks to this notification, and remembered that we want to put Apple back in the streaming rotation sometime in the future.
Yes, we like Apple. We have only it and Netflix for streaming.
