<p>I don’t live in California, but I don’t think I’ve ever heard of free health insurance. Well, here in the States at least.</p>
<p>Have you tried getting insurance through your college? I’ve also seen that Assurant Health Care has a student specific plan, but I’m not sure about premiums and all of that stuff. Best of luck!</p>

<p>Go to your college health center. Alot of their services will be free & if you need health insurance they will show you all the cheapest options there is a health program in california that is cheap BUT you have to be dirt poor and willing to pay a little.</p>
