Which concert would you pick?
JM
WITAT
JT
JT seems like he’d give you your moneys worth.
To rephrase that, he seems like he’d give an entertaining performance.
Blues Traveler. The other two bore me silly.
Never heard of Blues Traveler but I’ve seen both JM and JT in concert. JT wins, hands down.
JT - he’s an amazing performer
JM - he’s an amazing musician
BT - not so amazing
Blues Traveler–this song was ubiquitous a couple decades ago:

Still one of my very favorites.
How do I get the free tickets?
I’m going with Garland to see Blues Traveler
@lje62 Perfect! We’re practically neighbors anyway!

By not answering a question with a question
Saw Mayer years ago as an opening act, he was just OK. No interest in JT. So probably Blues Traveler, unless John Mayer was fronting The Grateful Dead. That I would even pay to see.
Justin without question. I turned down the chance to see John Mayer next month. Have never liked/enjoyed him.
The hook brings you back.
If John Popper’s more recent work is included, I might pick Blues Traveler.
Otherwise, JT.
I was never a big JT fan until I saw him on SNL. He is hilarious and so likeable, that I finally appreciated how good he is.
Yeah, I’d pick JT for that reason. Mayer is supposedly a bit of an arse. So, where’s my free tickets?!
He seems like his songs could all be pretty similar, and rather slow.
I think JM is pretty much done as an artist. He is rich and good looking so I don’t think anyone should feel sorry for him. He can pretty much play his old songs over and over like Jimmy Buffet and that will be that. He has a few really nice songs, I will say that. Totally agree with the comment that many of his songs “sound the same.”
JT, it seems to me, is still growing as an artist. But, he is sort of becoming a general celebrity and actor so not sure his thing will be music as much going forward. I really love some of his songs but he also kind of bores me a little also. I like his songs better when someone else covers them to be honest.
BT was a force of nature for awhile there but I thing they were done awhile back. Now it is all down hill for them. They have 5 or 6 unbelievably great and amazing songs and the rest of their playlist pretty much sucks. I am at work listening to a BT playlist on YT while I work and when John Popper wails on that harmonica and really gets into a great tune very few people can touch BT in their heyday. They are like a meteor that blazed bright and hot and then burned out quick.
