<p>Don’t they sometimes give residents little perks as a “thank you” for being inconvenienced due to construction noise/detours/etc.? I seem to remember some DB article from ~10 years ago about what ORL was doing for the poor guys living in Dykstra while De Neve was being constructed</p>
<p>I think it’s because of all the construction that will be going around Sproul, cause it’s gonna raise a lot of dust, so they don’t want us opening the windows, but still want us to have some sort of air circulation</p>
<p>Apparently, that construction is going on for the next 3 years too (at least the construction around Sproul). God have mercy on the poor souls that are put in rooms on the south side of Sproul</p>

<p>I called the construction office today with a different question, but the person on the phone did mention that sometimes fans are given out to help with the noise… maybe so windows can be kept shut to keep the noise out, along with the dust.</p>
