Free Kindle Book

Yes, I do use the library. But their holdings are still limited.

I agree jmmom. My solution is to download books from more then one library and check out real books too. What I’ve found is that the available library e-books are chosen for the masses and maybe very subjective. My hope is that since this technology is quickly evolving, the selection will be better soon.

Barnes and Noble has a “Nook Free Fridays” blog with a giveaway book each week. Very often, the book promoted on the Nook Free Fridays blog is also available for Kindle free on Amazon at the same time.

You can “like” the Nook page on Facebook to be informed each week of the current selection, or just make a point of checking for the “Nook Free Fridays” blog each Friday.

The first post in the comment string under the weekly blog post is often a list of other freebies found around the web that week.

Kathie - Thanks so much for the link! My local library does not e-lend, however through the link I found the the neighboring county does and offers lending to our county! I’m also available for a consortium in my state! Lots of options I didn’t know where available to me! :)

Here’s a national library that lends: [FLP - Get a Library Card](Get a Library Card) Pennsylvania residents that have a local library card and veterans are free. Anyone else can pay $10 and get a library card.
