Anyone with a Kindle…the above book is free today (Thursday). Don’t know if it’s any good or not…but hey…it’s supposed to be free. Just check that it really IS still free when you go to “purchase” it. Just do it through Kindle books on your Amazon account.

Oh I’m so glad that this is in the cafe. Maybe we can use it to list good free or inexpensive kindle or nook books we find…sort of the “good ebook buy of the day”.

You may want to try it again. It is a tempramental link and I had to try it a few times. I just downloaded about 30 free books. Here is the link again - maybe it will work better this time.
[kinlib US](http://us.kinlib.com/new/4ca6). I got it from the amazon bulletin board.

If you “like” EReader News Today on Facebook, they post links to at least 10 free books per day. I’ve gotten almost every book on my Kindle through their site!

Ereader News Today is where I get may of MY free Kindle books too…but I will say…my husband has a NOOK and we have checked a couple of times…everything that comes up as a free Kindle book has been free for him at B/N too…so you owners of other ereaders might want to check the vendors where you get your books to see.

Just FYI…I subscribe to ereader news today and NOT through FB. I get an email on my computer once a day with ten or so free books. Many are just plain JUNK. BUT some are good. The nice thing about it is I can just click the link on the email and it takes me directly to my Amazon account…and I can purchase the book if it’s still free.

I honestly do NOT like doing these things through Facebook.

This is my problem with most of the free lists. I’m not into romance, not particularly interested in mystery, not into horror, YA… and most of the daily freebies seem to be of this ilk. Maybe my expectations are too high for freebies, but I haven’t found a source that matches my interests. I do use the library to get some free books (don’t mind the wait) and I’ve downloaded some of the classics in the public domain (it’s about time I read Moby Dick!).

Does anyone have a source they find yields a regular supply of worthwhile reading?

Get free books through your library: [OverDrive – Global distributor of digital eBooks, audiobooks, music & video for library, school & retail](http://www.overdrive.com/) Yes, it’s just a rental, but they’re pretty easy to download.
