Free Ride Near Home or Pricey Elite Eastern School?

<p>I am curious to know which schools offer full ride for commended student. I thought it was only offered to finalists/semi-finalists.</p>

<p>Check the Financial Aid forum. You’ll find lots of info there about merit scholarships. Even if a college doesn’t offer scholarships that are specifically for Commended Students, if your GPA and SAT or ACT scores are significantly above the school’s median range, you may be in the running for a major merit award. </p>
