Free SAT Score Reporting in Admission Ticket

I requested to send May SAT score to 4 colleges becasue it is free service as part of SAT admission ticket. I have not applied or connected to any of thoese colleges at all, how does the college know the SAT score is from a future applicant and from me

I did the same.I am sure when the application is sent in they see that :)

it is best not to use free score reports this early at all since you may improve and regret sending your “lesser” scores

Crazybandit it doesn’t matter because most schools take the highest sections out of all scores. They would also be impressed by any improvement made. :)

im just saying it is a waste of time to send scores this early. it is good that you are doing it, but, in the broader scope of things, you will probably retake the SAT and get a better score, and have to send again. but if you do not plan to retake the SAT, then you can send it early. the college board encourages early sending (hence its free score reports); colleges know this and will keep your scores on file. the same is typically the case for transfer students. if you apply for college and get rejected, and apply again 1-2 years into college to transfer to a different college, they will likely still have part, if not all, of your application (although they wont consider it for transfer admissions, which requires a new and different application).

no, they wouldn’t. it would be nice to think that way, but the truth is that that is not the case.
