Gosh I certainly hope that when I am 90 years old, I will be able to climb onto our scaffold to paint something! I have been practicing that skill lately…
No kidding, I’m hoping I’ll be able to get out of bed. I do love the color and beauty of the homes in other places beyond the U.S. We’re all beige and gray here.
Yes! Some beautiful houses there. Reminds me of a supposedly true story I heard… a Ukrainian painter joined the army. Once, he got assigned to paint military barracks. When the solders returned, they were speechless. Instead of the grey building, they saw a white one covered in colorful, stylized sunflowers and roosters. He got called to explain what the heck had happened. “That’s how I learned to paint houses in the Ukraine, Sir!” Was his reply.
I don’t have anything to post here, but with the news these days I smile every time a friend posts Homecoming, wedding or new grandchild pictures on Facebook.
Have you seen Joe Biden & Meghan McCain talk about cancer? She starts to cry, and he gets up from his chair to come hold her hand? KIndness makes me smile every time
When Joe Biden said her dad (meaning John McCain) is one of my best friends, it actually gave me hope that our country could return to the days of past where people could disagree but still communicate with and like each other.
