Free web phone and reverse phone directories?

<p>I’ve noticed that it is almost impossible to look up phone numbers/addresses on the web any more without running into a demand for payment. There used to be plenty of free services, but no longer, especially for reverse directories. Does anyone know of a good free site?</p>

<p>The other thing I’ve noticed is that the “do not call” list doesn’t work as well as it used to. I get many junk calls both on the landline and on my cell phone.</p>

<p>Use google text from your cell phone: 46645…text it a name and they will respond with the phone #.</p>

<p>A lot of the paid services are in the front of listings for some reason but they will usually provide you with a phone and address for free with a little poking around. You could try superpages.com.</p>

<p>I’ve been getting more junk calls too. I just politely or not so politely turn them away.</p>

<p>I use White Pages app for my iPhone. I can most always find what I’m looking for for free.</p>
