If you lose, do you replay the same game?

Yes, I repeat–changing something or other–until I win. It gives me hope that through reincarnation, I may someday finally live my life the right way.

^Heh. I sometimes replay, but usually go on to a new game.

Yes, I replay the same game. In fact, a couple of months ago I “reset” my game staticss and started playing the games in numerical order, starting at #1. I play each game until I win, and use the game statistics to know what game to start with when I return to play. (since I have 787 games won, I know that the next time I play I need to start with game #788).

See if you can win game -1 .

I am with ellemenope- just keep playing until you win. I used to play all the time but lately I’ve switched to online scrabble against the computer.

Game 1–check! (No reincarnation needed this time)

I hardly ever lose.

(The stats on the current computer show 2848 games played, 99% win rate, but some of the losses were because of computer shut downs mid-game – either I forgot I had the game open or windows decides it needs to upgrade itself and reboot without warning me.)

When I was 7, I taught my father how to play Freecell.

He doesn’t replay lost games.

But then again, I’ve been at this for something like 15 years now…

and yes, you do have to play the same games over until you win in order to get good at it.

The appealing thing about the game is that almost all are winnable - and you can see all the cards – so it’s mostly a matter of being very careful & thinking ahead…

Definitely NOT what this incarnation of ellemenope is really good at…

Well the current incarnations of freecell on Windows Vista + also allow unlimited use of the “undo” button, so as long as you don’t play through to the very end, you can always back out of a mistake.
