Does anyone know if they will contact you even if you didn’t make the finalist? Or do they just wait until April to send out the rejection letter?</p>
<p>I just contacted the admission office and they said all Freeman finalists will be notified by the end of this week. It follows that no notice will mean rejection notice.</p>

<p>@atlantean: Thank you! I think short-listed applicants are notified on the same day, as you said, since I’ve known at least two other people who also received the interview invitation on the same day as I did.</p>

<p>Congrats Zia! when do u get your email? My friend, also from Indonesia, got it in the early afternoon, is it around the same time? Does that mean that they’re still rolling out the notifications, and they’re not sent on the same date even for people of the same country? Hmm</p>

Thanks! Yes I got it probably around 1 pm. I think the notifications were sent on the same day for people of the same country since there were four students from my school that got shortlisted. They just didn’t arrange the interview on the same day. Two of them are scheduled only half an hour apart for the interview and I’m going to be interviewed the next day. Even if they arrange it according to last name, why don’t they arrange it on the same day, since there aren’t that many interviewees I believe…</p>

<p>I’m a Korean and I’m a finalist! I live in Indonesia, so I was surprised to find out first of all that they preferred students in the country, and second that I got it! I think I found out like 2 weeks ago. The interview is tomorrow and there is a reception inviting parents too. I can’t go to Korea so I’m interviewing through skype. They said that wasn’t preferred and hinted that my chances are low if I don’t come in person, but my circumstances just don’t allow me to fly there for a couple of days. My dad is attending a conference in Korea so he’ll drop by to the reception. </p>
<p>Anyone know how to prepare for this?</p>
<p>Also, does this mean that the finalists are automatically accepted to the school even if they don’t receive the scholarship?</p>

I’m not sure. I guess it only applies if you chose to be also considered for admission without the scholarship.</p>

I was surprised to find out that I got it too! I’m from Taiwan and I live in the US now, and I am also gonna interview through skype.</p>
