<p>Ok! So I am a LaGaurdia CC student in NYC. I have earned 74 credits and 20 in progress this semester.</p>

<p>I have 2 w’s one from my Spring Semester and the other from my Fall semester last year.</p>

<p>** I AM GOING TO WITHDRAW FROM 2 COURSES TODAY ** which will leave me with 4 W’s. BUT!!! Only 2 W’s will show on my transcript and those will be from the ones I dropped last year because I already ordered my transcripts yesterday and I am going to drop the other 2 courses today.</p>

<p>My question is: AM I SAFE? Provided that none of my universities ask for Mid-Term Report.</p>

<p>WILL UNIVERSITIES DECLINE MY ADMISSION IF THEY KNEW AFTERWARDS THAT I HAD DROPPED 2 THIS SEMESTER!</p>

<p>Even if you are accepted, you will be required to provide your transcripts once the semester is completed. The acceptances are always contingent on satisfactory completion of your current semester in keeping with the performance on which your acceptance was based.</p>

<p>So, I don’t know how your W’s would play out. I think it would be especially troublesome if the school realizes you ordered your earlier transcripts immediately prior to doing the withdraws.</p>

<p>You have to inform the school if you are gonna withdraw or drop any course.</p>

<p>Yes, its best that they know ASAP that you are withdrawing or else it could be held against you. That being said, schools dont care too much about Ws, so you should be fine.</p>

<p>I also have two W’s on my transcript, because they weren’t honors courses. So I’m retaking them with honors this semester, but people might think that I couldn’t organize my schedule well enough.</p>
