<p>I have a friend (who lives and works in Africa) who is gathering books for distribution in Burundi.</p>
<p>He writes on his blog that virtually no primary or secondary schools in the country have
libraries or even a single book. Things are written on a board and copied. Literacy is about 40%. There is only one bookstore in the country.</p>
<p>If anyone has access to French language books for children that I could pass along, please PM me.</p>
