<p>so the requirements for a french minor are: french IV (250) and 5 upper level classes. </p>

<p>is it possible/allowed to test out of french IV?</p>

<p>My guess is yes, but I would check with an advisor to find out for sure. As a general rule, lower-division course requirements (299 or below) are a lot more flexible than upper division (300-499) requirements.</p>
