French or Arabic for working in NYC?

I’m planning on becoming a child therapist in NYC and am already learning Spanish. Which would be a good third language to learn: French for the large Haitain population, or Arabic for the Arabic-speaking population?

Arabic.

10char

Whichever group has the larger trend towards requiring a child therapist. My guess is Arabic speaking people aren’t so inclined to seek one out.

Arabic simply because there is an infinitesimal amount of French people in New York. Also, there’s no guarantee that Haitian people know French along with Creole (if they even know this).

I would go for Jewish, but thats just me.

Haitians don’t speak french as their first language. They speak creole

I second this… I’d imagine that there’d be a huge need for child therapists among the Jewish community; circumcision’s still all the rage.

what language is Jewish, Yiddish or Hebrew?

I feel like most Jewish people in NY speak english anyway lol

I don’t think either language will be massively useful in NYC.Spanish, yes…Arabic,Fran

I don’t know about what would be best for a child psychologist, but if we’re talking about number of people in NYC, Chinese would probably be my next language.
