<p>I’m taking the placement exam pretty late in my stay at Columbia, basically trying to pass out, but figuring I might end up in 3rd or 4th semester (the program director said I should be able to with the experience I have, even without studying).</p>
<p>So, question, has ANYONE taken this exam? I really want to know what kinds of questions are on it and what amount of vocabulary I need to have. I haven’t taken French in years, but I know most of the rules (including all important verb tenses) and mostly just am missing vocab.</p>
<p>I’d like to get some sort of idea for what it is like to take – easier than expected, harder than expected, what types of questions there are.</p>
