<p>Both of these are listed as majors on the online application. What exactly is the difference between the two? When I looked on the “Major Advising Sheet,” only French was listed, not F&FS.</p>
<p>It is my understanding that the difference between these majors is the general focus of the classes taken.</p>
<p>From the bulletin describing F&FS:
“Like the major in French, the major in French and Francophone Studies requires proficiency in the language. However, it is structured differently from the major in French and offers an interdisciplinary approach to studies in French and Francophone reality.”</p>
