Fresh Corn On The Cob

I have never heard of corn in an oven. On a grill yes, oven no. In the husk?

Yes, I’m cooking them in the husk. Will see how it goes–never tried it before either, but love the grilled corn sold for $5 or more apiece at the stadium (though too rich for my blood to have it with any frequency).

The local corn has been excellent this year. Since it’s just two of us, I find the microwave method the easiest and tastiest. It basically steams it in the husk.

How did the corn turn out in the oven - please be honest!

The baked in the toaster oven corn was OK—neither the best nor worst I’ve had. Sure didn’t taste like the grilled corn smothered in butter and salt!
