Freshman adjust to Penn State?

<p>Any ideas of what makes the adjustment to Penn State easier? Since it is such a big school, what does the school do to help freshman feel at home? Is there a freshman orientation?</p>

<p>I went to Mich. State (as a transfer). Basically. at any school, large or small, you meet kids in your dorm and that becomes your initial social life. The smaller the dorm the better too.</p>

<p>As I’ve stated over and over on CC- a school is only as big as your circle of friends.</p>
