What is a DH?

DH=Dear husband

DS- dear son
DD- dear daughter… etc

Depending on your mood, the d can also stand for damn. :D

Is damn swearing?

yes it is, oldfort.

Sorry for my bad typing :)

BTW, oldfort, “damn” is a mild swearword (imo). YDS’s post was funny :)

** There are several “swearwords” that have made it into the vernacular (and into play/movie titles) like Damn Yankees and Dinner for Schmucks. I was surprised at that last one. Then again, I was surprised at Urinetown and Vagina Monologues…

Bump bump bump

Jessica…Ask your mom what she thinks.

No need to bump up the thread. I think you got your answer.

I figured that if a word is bad/forbidden it will get *'d. And if it doesn’t get *'d it must not be deemed too offensive by the moderators.

I really count those ***s to cover my … uh, you know.

Jessica, we’re now on page 3 and there has yet to be a parent who is wholeheartedly endorsing what you want. The best you got is one person who said a casual relationship was ok at the END of freshman year.

You asked for parent opinions, I think you have your answer. It’s just up to you to decide whether to listen to it.

More opinions would be appreciated :)

ok… thanks for the advice parents

Does this boy even like you or do you just “think” he likes you?

A seventeen year old and fourteen year old dating is creepy, in my opinion. Once he reaches 18, it will graduate from creepy to D: .

Its interesting to see what people think on this subject…Me personally, if you guys really do like each other then its ok. Tell him what you feel about him. I’ve seen a couple of posts about a problem of it not being long term because he’ll be leaving for college, but maybe if you too had great chemistry, and you too had some serious feelings toward each other then maybe he’ll give you a promis ring at the end of the school year. Obviously there will be a lot of temptation for him in college but if he does have true feelings he’ll be loyal. You guys could maybe take a “break” and just be friends at the end of the school year until its easier to keep the relationship, maybe you guys could try to go to the same school or close ones when your both in college.

Best of luck

@Naturally

Yes I KNOW he does

@Carlozz

Thank you for commenting!! I really do like him, he’s good looking, smart, and just an amazing person

What do your parents think?

So it’s a “him” now?

You original post says…
“Ok so I’m a high school senior boy. There’s a freshman girl that I think likes me.”

What is your deal? I posted a response at first, deleted it when I doubted your sincerity, then got sucked in again. How does that saying go? “Fool me twice…”

The idea of a College freshman staying true to a high school sophomore is both laughable and disturbing.

The whole thing is creepy. End of story.
