<p>So I’m currently taking AP CS and APUSH as APs for my freshman year. Should I add another one (Self study) to be one of the only freshman in my state to get an AP award?</p>
<p>If it would make you feel good about yourself (and you have the time available), sure. It’s probably not going to affect all that much in college admissions, but it couldn’t hurt.</p>

<p>I would if I were you. That’s pretty sweet but as amarkov said, its not going to be that important. But, since you probably have a lot more time on your hands as a freshman, you could knock some more APs off so you don’t have to worry about them when you’re a junior.</p>
