As posted on the USC website: Our 2012 freshman class has reached capacity. Potential first year students who are interested in enrolling at South Carolina should call our office at (803)777-7700 to discuss transfer admission requirements. We will be glad to assist you.

I am going to be a freshman at one of the branch schools because I was rejected because my SAT scores are on the lower end. I am planning on transferring in the spring, do you think that is possible?

^It’s a whole heck of a lot easier transferring to USC from a branch school than from anywhere else. If you can’t get in in the spring, you should definitely be able to in the fall.

It might help you to take a Summer II course and get an A in it just so that when you put in an application they can see you can succeed in a USC course.

Plus, there are always students who leave or transfer after the first semester. Even in the dorms I could tell there were a lot less people. My hallway had six rooms. One of them was completely empty. Two only had two people. There were something like eight empty beds in my dorm on my floor. First semester it was completely full.

I was planning on taking a course in summer I, however it filled up while I was out of the country. I am taking a class in NYC during the time of summer II.
