Freshman Class of 2029 UC Application Questions and Tutorials

With 250K applicants, the number of verifications done by the UC’s is very very small but yes it is possible it could have gone to JUNK/SPAM so it is always best to check regularly the JUNK/SPAM folder.

should I contact uc and question if I needed to do this just in case?

It’s possible that in addition to an email, you might receive notice in the application portal. For example, when Cal requested LOR’s for our daughter there was a notice in the portal as well as an email. But all of the UC’s operate differently.

As @Gumbymom said, I wouldn’t worry about this, so few are sent out, and if you did not receive an email you are likely one of the vast majority who also did not receive one.

Also a guess, but they would likely send a follow up email requesting the information or reminding you of the deadline if you did not initially reply.

I’m no expert on how these emails are sent out, but for example, our S25 is getting lots of UC marketing emails to his Google promotions folder, but the important ones, like for setting up portals, do NOT go to promotions or spam, but directly to his inbox. If none of the other UC emails are going to your spam there’s no reason to be concerned.
