Well I know that since I joined the 2014 FSU Network on Facebook I have received a lot of request from other Freshman who plan to attend FSU in the summer and fall. I just thought that it may be nice to know a few individuals prior to attending FSU so I created this thread as sort of a water cooler environment.

To start of here is a little about myself. My name is Cameron and I am 16 years old extrovert. I attend Seminole High School in Sanford, Florida and I am a Health Academy student. I enjoy fishing, camping, sports (football, track, cross country, and baseball), I love all types of music, and I’m an art lover with a great passion for photography

My planned major is Exercise Science and I will be attending in Summer 2010. I look forward to reading your responses and meeting you!

I’m Christina. 17 atm (18 in july). as of right now I’m planning on attending during the summer 2010. live in port nowhere, fl lol ok so it’s port richey same thing
I have no idea what I’m majoring in yet but hopefully will find out. oh and I’m attending preview on march 26th ^_^

I’m Jacob and I’m 18 years old and live in Maggie Valley, North Carolina. I’m really interested in politics and law and I have been working at a law firm a paid intern for three years and really enjoy it. I enjoy exercising in any way haha, camping, music, florida state university, haha and a lot of other things. I’ve been a huge FSU sports fan since I was like 5 years old and it’s like a dream come true that I get to go. I will be attending in fall of 2010.

Hiii, I’m Nicole, I’m 17 (I’ll be 18 in less than a week though), and I’m from florida, about 3 hours away from Tally. I love anything that has to do with being outside and being with friends. I also love meeting new people. =) I’ll be attending fsu fall 2010. Oh, and I’m undecided, haha.

Im Jessica. 17 (turn 18 in june) I used to live in FL but the moved to PA. I want to major in Pre-medical Biology. I am pretty much shy when you meet me and then become outgoing =]. I think we should all like meet up at FSU somewhere

I’m Victoria (Tori), and I live in Heidelberg, Germany! I’m 17, half American, half British, and my dad’s a FL resident so that’s why I’m going to college in Florida (cheap tuition)! I like playing sports, working out, drawing, watching movies, and my ultimate favorite thing to do is…laugh! I would definitely like to meet some funny people, because I’m worried that I won’t find anyone as goofy as my friends over here, haha! (:

Ohoh, and I’m planning on majoring in Biological Sciences, as I hope to become a zoologist or go into medicine…or anything scientific/mathematical in general! :D

My name is Sohini, I’m 17, Indian, and I live in Ft. Myers Florida. =) I’m stuck between computational biology or biomedical engineering as my major, but time will tell. I love to meet new people!

Lol @foxfire and @torioreo, Biology is really fun at FSU, but if you don’t take the right professors, it will turn into a pain at the speed of light and cause your brain to implode.

See what i did there? I mixed biology and physics in the same sentence. Thats what FSU teaches yo: FUSION!

foxfire: Really? Awesome! Where are you planning on rooming at, do you have a roomie, and what’s your housing number?! Haha. Mine sucks =[

satscholar: I’ve looked at ratemyprofessors.com and have made a list of all the decent ones…I just hope that they really are decent!! What makes Biology so fun at FSU? Just wondering!!

I am a hospitality major and I am deciding between UCF and FSU; which has the better school of hospitality? I want to know which one has a better academic program? I know that FSU has more of the traditional college feel. Which leads me to another question… what is the true college atmosphere at UCF especially on the weekends? Does UCF do any tailgating for football weekends or it is not that important to the students at school? I will be at school during all weekends… football, no football, will I be bored?

torioreo: umm well i want to get into Landis or Gilcrest if i get into honors but i just switched three and 4 to deviny and kellum. Naw i dont have a roomie because i don’t know anyone from PA that is going there lol… um my number is in the 2000 =]

foxfire: Yeah, I’m trying to get into Honors too but I’m guessing Landis will already be full up with people who have already gotten into it…who knows! My number is horrible…5159 >.< I’ll probably go random, but I hope I get someone good! :P

I am soon to be 18, entering in fall 2010 and plan to major in FSU teach math or Classical Studies. Will be in Landis (Honors) coming from the Tampa area. Have a great housing #617. My mom was up at midnight on day of acceptances and put in housing within 20 minutes of acceptance. Still small chance I will be going OOS to favorite reach school, but money wise it looks like FSU for me.
