Will UCLA look at which courses I took for freshman year of high school?

Because my VPA requirement is in that year, and I’ve heard somewhere that the UC schools don’t traditionally look at freshman year.

Of course they look at your freshmen year. Theyre not going to completely overlook a whole year of your high school career. You took classes that year including VPA that are necessary to fulfill the A-G reqs.

You kind of misinterpreted what UC schools think about freshmen year. They dont really focus on the GRADES that year. Although they factor in your GPA for all 4 years, they mainly concentrate your performance in sophomore and junior year.

Yeah its just your 10th and 11th year grades that they use to compute your UC GPA when you apply. But the A-G classes can be in any of your four years of high school.
