"Freshman Day" vs. "A Day in the Life" Programs

I originally entered this post on the “Admissions Receptions” thread but didn’t receive any response:

My daughter received the information about both Freshman Day, on 4/13 and the A Day In The Life program. Of the two, which would be most useful to attend? From what we read, Freshman Day sounds a little bit like a rehash of Preview Day, which she had previously attended. If I’m not mistaken, the “…Day in the Life…” involves being able to sit in on a class, which she hasn’t done before, so she’s leaning toward going to that. However, I’d hate for her to have to miss out on Freshman Day if there is something particularly worthwhile going on then. Does anyone have any feedback as to which program would be better to gauge the getting to know the school and the other students?
Thanks.

I would say A Day in The Life. I never attended it, but I remember Freshman day seemed like a waste of time.
