Let’s get to it!
Grades:
My grades have been no where near where they should be. You see, I transfered to a school that was on block scheduling (for those who don’t know, it’s where you have 4 classes a day, but they cover twice as much material) aboout 2 months in to the year (which is about 4 months on regular scheduling). Thinking I would be able to catch up easily, I decided to take all four of those classes as academic classes (Hon. English, Hon. Bio, Hon. Geometry, and French 1). I definitely underestimated the work load. Not only did I have to keep up with what they were currently learning, I had to make up all the past assignments as well as summer reading work. I got an A- in French, C+ in Biology, B+ in English, and a D- in Geometry (It was very hard for me to grasp the concepts of Geometry). Now, I have started to get into a rhythm of things and currently have All A’s and maybe a B. I hope that those grade don’t effect my decision too much! It’s the upward trend that counts :)

Extracurriculars:
Well, my middle school didn’t have a whole lot of EC, so I just started some this year. I joined New Global Citizens (A community service type club), Biology Club, and thinking about joining Key Club if it will fit in my schedule. As for athletics, I have played baseball for nearly 8 years, but I haven’t been committed to it until recently (I’ve only played little league, even though I’ve begged my mom to let me try travel or club ball). Unfortunately, when I moved this past year I had to quit playing baseball and haven’t played for a year. I will be joining my High School’s Freshman team this Spring. I’m sooo looking forward to being able to play again! In the absence of Baseball, I decided to join Cross Country. I. Love. It. I may not be the best runner, but I’m definitely am the most spirited
My best mile is about 6:30, and 5k is around 21:30 ish mark.

SSATs:
When I took the SSAT last year, I scored in the 90th ish percentile for every area (I can’t remember if they were high, medium, low 90’s). I hope to improve some in this area.

Well… I think that’s it. Oh! The schools I’m considering:
-Exeter
-Andover
-Milton
-Northfield Mount Hermon.
-Kent
-Hill
-Loomis Chaffee
-Mercersburg
and possibly a few others…
