Could anybody suggest the best jobs for an international engineering freshman to help with tuition??
For international student, your job opportunity is very limited. One good way to save money is to work as RA in the dorm. I actually know a former international engineering student did that for a couple years.
@careerguy12 @billcsho Unfortunately, you cannot be a RA your freshman year - the earliest is basically second semester sophomore year. Look into applying for Residential Staff as a CA (Community Assistant) - you can start as early as second semester, but probably not until sophomore year.
Yes, it is not for freshmen, but an option for international students later on.

I guess it is possible but the priority would likely go to domestic students with work study.
There are more jobs than students on campus, and a majority of them have very similar wages. The best jobs are those that either you enjoy doing or require the least amount of work (i.e. work at a info desk) so that you can do hw while you work.
