<p>Yes, Freshman may audition. In fact one of my d’s best friends auditioned her first or 2nd day on campus as a freshman and was cast (this past September). Lot’s of performance options, both departmental and student run.
I believe the students audition at the beginning of each semester for everything.</p>
<p>Not only can freshmen audition, they can get leads - this is not common, but it happens!</p>
