So I took the SAT freshman year in order to apply for something and I got a 1920. I’m a junior right now and I haven’t taken the SAT yet, but I’ve taken practice tests and have gotten scores around the 2200 range or so. I’m wondering if my low score freshman year will affect me in any way for the schools that require you to send all your SAT scores.

You’re totally fine. You took that SAT freshman year. Colleges know that you’ve obviously grown intellectually since then, as you’re taking harder classes now. And you know you’ve grown intellectually by then, obviously through your performance on the practice tests. If anything, they should be impressed. A 1920 is an amazing score for a freshman. I’ve worried myself over that too. Last year I took the SAT for the first time, as a freshman, and got a 2020. Colleges will most likely be impressed that you A.) took the test so early and B.) got a great score.

1920 is in the 90th percentile i believe.
So you don’t have anything to worry about, esp since it was Freshman year.
