Who has read through this thing so far? I spent my afternoon reading it word for word, it was pretty fun/interesting/insightful in my opinion. What did you all think about it? If you haven’t got it yet, its a special issue of the Daily Northwestern sent to all incoming freshman with articles and ads aimed to help you out before school starts or just get names out there (in terms of the ads).

oh wow…it was awesome…especially since i really want to write for the Daily!

it was really good. it’s kinda sad that there’s no real “dating” scene here, though. sure, everyone wants to play the first year or so, but it’d be nice to know that relationships are established more often. but that’s just me.

it got me even more excited to go, though. damn, we stilll have a month left!

lol. i don’t think you’ll be saying the same thing once you’re at the middle of the first quarter, and midterms are piling up. i’m glad to be home for another month. >_<

haha, maybe so. i keep forgetting i’m going to college and i’m going to have to do WORK. but i’m really looking forward to going to a new place and living on my own. i’ve never spent more than two weeks at one time away from home.

besides, everyone i know is going soon or gone, so it’s really not that much fun anymore being home.

Remember freshmen, leave your explosives at home, or so says the NSW website.

haha. interesting advice from nu.

that’s true, all my friends are leaving this week, but i don’t know. it’s kind of nice to finally get some time to yourself, you know? haha, maybe it’s just me, but i want to just kind of do things for myself, by myself for a few weeks before the whole social extravaganza known as new student week. i think i need it after working and taking summer school the past two months… in addition to the four years of high school… >_<
